JW CORTES is an American actor, filmmaker, activist and a former US Marine & NY Police Officer. He is best known for his work as an Operative on NBC’s fierce reality television show “STARS EARN STRIPES.” During season one he had the pleasure of training, mentoring & executing training missions with celebrity Todd Palin. He is also active within various charities and organizations to include Autism Speaks, the Wounded Warrior Project and recently launched a new t-shirt line to directly support and raise awareness for the aforementioned. He can be seen in various other projects to include Blue Caprice (dir. Alexandre Moors), As Good As Dead (Andy McDowell) and Everything Becomes Whole (Sarah Fimm). He is the proud father of two boys, a husband and loving owner of an American-Bulldog named Blue.
